🔓 Loyalty for Shopify POS is unlocked on plans: Basic, Advanced and Pro

It's a good idea to get all checkout staff to do a couple of practice runs using your loyalty program through your Shopify POS. That way, when it comes to real customers, they will be more confident and are less likely to have uncertainty.

Put on two hats. Try your loyalty program as both the customer and a staff member:

  • Add yourself as a new member - make a purchase at POS
  • As a member, view your loyalty profile 
  • Make a purchase through POS and redeem a reward

▶️  Beautiful Loyalty Programs is directly integrated with Shopify POS to make signing up a simple, non-disruptive process.

1. Open your Shopify POS sale screen

2. Add a few of products to the sale

💡 Quick Tip: Add enough products to the sale so that you will earn enough points to redeem a reward later. 

3. Tap Add customer

4. Tap Create Customer

5. Enter your First Name, Last Name and Email Address

6. Tap Save

You will be added to the sale as a customer. 

7. Complete the sale

You are now a loyalty program member and will have earned points for your purchase. If you have your Earned Points email turned on, you will also receive an email notifying you of the points you just earned. 

As a member, view your loyalty profile and redeem a reward

1. If you have your Earned Points email enabled, in your Email inbox, open the email. 

Here you can see:  

  • How many points you just earned 
  • Your loyalty points balance
  • How far away you are from your next reward

If you have earned enough points to unlock a reward, and have your Reward Unlocked email enabled, you'll receive a notification that you have earned enough points to redeem a reward. To redeem, follow the steps below. If you need to earn a few more points, make another purchase then continue 👍

▶️  This video demonstrates how to redeem a reward for a customer at POS in a matter of seconds.

1. Open your Shopify POS sale screen

2. Tap Add customer

3. Add yourself to the sale by searching for your name or email address

4. Add a couple of products to the sale

5. Tap the Shopify Tray Menu  (represented by the 3-dots on the top right corner of the POS screen)

6. In the Tray Menu, tap Show customer's rewards

7. In the member's profile, tap Redeem on a reward

The discount will automatically be applied to the sale and the required points will be removed from the member's account.

8. Complete the sale
